Synthesis of a broad catalyst library? Simultaneous multi-parameter optimisation of reaction conditions? Rapid aquisition of high-quality experimental data for a machine learning project? UZH's new HTEL will host a state of the art robotic platform that is designed to accelerate and facilitate chemical research in many ways.
Capabilities will involve:
- automated solid and liquid dispensing
- parallel reactions (MTP-format) under inert atmosphere
- photochemical reactions using different wavelengths
- reactions using reactive gases under pressure
- parallelised workflows for dilution, filtration, extraction, evaporation
- rapid analysis by UHPLC/MS and plate reading
